Ana Boado

Her vocation began at age 5 when he started with a special interest in horses. After riding horses for years in both the United States and England and taking several courses as a riding instructor, she decided to study veterinary medicine to dedicate herself to the world of horses.

After graduating from the Complutense University of Madrid and doing several years of internship in Spain in equine medicine and surgery, she had the opportunity to do an internship at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, UK under the supervision of Dr. Sue Dyson, one of the most prestigious specialists in traumatology in the equine veterinary world. Most of the cases were difficult cases referred from the United Kingdom and Europe, of different modalities, both racing, jumping, dressage and complete. In addition to having the opportunity to work with the best, she was fortunate to be trained in performing MRIs, trauma surgeries, scintigraphy and other diagnostic and treatment techniques. After this year of experience, Ana worked in a general equine clinic in North London to gain experience and be eligible for a residency. Later she completed 4 years of residency in the Surgery and Traumatology service of the Edinburgh Horse Hospital with a large casuistry of musculoskeletal pathologies and about 2000 cases per year. Responsible for the interpretation of magnetic resonances. The hospital had two operating rooms, scintigraphy, resonance and all the necessary means. She subsequently sat for the Certificate in Equine Traumatology examination from the College of Veterinary Surgeons of the United Kingdom. After that she obtained the diploma (specialty title) both European and American. Owner of an exclusive specialized and reference service for diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal problems, diagnosis of performance problems and recovery from injuries in the horse, as well as a second opinion and support service for other veterinarians.
