Mª Jesús Rodríguez Vizcaíno
Dr. María Jesús Rodríguez Vizcaíno obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine and her PhD from the University of Murcia. She worked at the Equine Medicine and Surgery Service of the same University for 20 years, focusing mainly on general surgery, lameness investigation and diagnostic imaging, as well as emergencies. Dr. Rodriguez was also Associate Professor, participating in student teaching, supervising and collaborating in research projects. She is certified in Equine Orthopaedic Surgery by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (UK) and is a specialist in Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation by the ACVSMR. Since 2022, Dr Rodriguez has been collaborating regularly with the Equine Surgery Service of the University of Toulouse (ENVT, France) as an independent practitioner involved in general surgery, emergencies and lameness workup. She also collaborates temporarily with the Equine Service of the University of Castilla y León (Spain). She has numerous publications in national and international journals and has participated with lectures, communications and posters in numerous national and international veterinary congresses and meetings
